About this product
A food caddy only gets used if it can sit on the worktop without being unpleasant, so this one has a carbon filter set into the lid that takes the edge off between emptyings, and a lid that seals rather than rests. Five litres is roughly two or three days of peelings for a small household. The inner bucket lifts out with a wire handle so you can carry it to the garden bin and rinse it in the sink, leaving the outer shell clean. The shell is powder-coated steel in muted colours rather than white plastic that stains after a month of coffee grounds.
