About this product
Plastic cans crack at the handle after two summers in the sun. This one is brushed stainless steel with a rolled rim and welded seams, so it lasts and it looks like something you leave out rather than hide. Five litres is the sensible compromise: enough to water a run of pots without refilling, light enough to carry full in one hand. The spout is long and set low on the body, which keeps the flow steady as the can empties and lets you reach the back of a border. A brass rose twists off for a fine spray over seedlings, or leave it off to water directly at the roots.
